Construction workers are classed as working in a high hazard workplace, where there is a risk of falls, serious fractures, crush injuries, amputations, spinal injury and catastrophic bleeding. It is for this reason that they should attend the industry specific Construction Emergency First Aid at Work course, which covers all emergency and non-emergency situations that might arise on site.
This course is suitable for site managers, contractors and labourers who work on busy building sites. It is fully recognised by the HSE, through the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). This course meets the requirements of the HSE and is valid for a period of three years.
