Aquatic Safety Qualification (ASQ)

Build a Safer, More Confident Workforce

If your staff work in, on, or around water, they need the knowledge and skills to recognise hazards, manage risks, and respond effectively in an emergency.

The Aquatic Safety Qualification (ASQ) is a nationally recognised vocational training programme designed to develop confidence, competence, and sound decision-making for anyone working in waterside environments.

Developed to meet industry requirements, the ASQ provides organisations with a flexible training pathway that supports compliance with health and safety responsibilities. The modular structure allows training to be tailored to your organisation, ensuring your team receives the skills most relevant to their working environment.

The qualification is externally accredited by the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
